Three Biggest Competitors
Hello all! In this blog post, I will be discussing the three
biggest competitors for my company and why I can compete against them. Competition
is good as it shows I will have a market for my company. My all-inclusive gym
is like many other gyms. However, my gym is also quite unique. My company will
be an all-inclusive company, where there will be a separate women’s section
apart from the men’s side. My gym will include personal training, Pilates/
other training programs, daycare for the kids and a self-serve protein/
smoothie machine and a tier -based membership fee/cost. Although these extra additions
are still ideas, I still hope to incorporate these into my company. My gym
would be all-inclusive as everyone can workout and get fit comfortably. My gym would
account for religious reasons, families will kids who need nannies while they
workout etc. Contracts of following proper gym etiquette will be read and signed
by all those who wish to join my all-inclusive gym. The first competitor for my
company would be any “big name” brand company. For example, La fitness, this is
a well-known “big name” brand. I can compete against them because they are a
company who portrays the same qualities my gym has. They also have a lot of customers
that come. La Fitness also has been the gym company well known for years. The second
competitor for my company would be Planet Fitness. I can compete against them because
Planet Fitness is known for their cheap memberships. Customers tend to get a
good “bank for their buck,” when they chose to subscribe and gym with them. My
gym would also have a tier-based membership fee system. Where each fee would
increase based on how much they get. Whether it is 24-hour access or loyalist discounts,
it would vary depending on what the customer wants. The third competitor for my
company would be 425 fitness Redmond. I believe it is a women’s only gym based
in Redmond. I can compete against them because they portray the same qualities
my gym would have. This is good because it shows there is a market for my business
idea/company. I can use their ideas and create my own gym closer to the
opposite side of Washington for gym-goers near the Covington/Kent/maple valley
area. Location still varies. Overall, competition is good for my company/business
idea. Thank you!
